VGI Supports 'Help! COVID-19 Home Care Service' to aid COVID-19 patients

18 August 2021

VGI PLC, the leader in Offline-to-Online ('O2O') Solutions across advertising, payment and logistics platforms, joins the efforts to fight COVID-19 along with its staff volunteer club, offering donations and media space to advertise 'Help! COVID-19 Home Care Service' launched by Doctor A to Z, a Health Tech startup with an online platform helping patients to have better access to medical services.

With the deteriorating COVID-19 situation in Thailand, where numbers of patients are rapidly rising, whilst hospital beds are in decline, Doctor A to Z, together with its network of partners consisting of over 400 volunteer medical doctors and 20 private businesses from various industries, have joined forces to launch 'Help! COVID-19 Home Care Service,' an initiative that aims to assist COVID-19 patients who are able to receive care under Home Isolation, or the so-called 'Green' COVID-19 patients who are either asymptomatic or are not seriously ill and have no underlying condition. Through the service, patients would be able to receive 24 hours remote care from a team of doctors, medical personnel and care givers as well as urgent medical support should that be required, along with necessary medical supplies and food. Referral support is also offered where hospital admission is needed. By simply searching '@helpus' via Line application, those in need of assistance can easily access the service.

Not only is it part of VGI's corporate responsibility goals to create sustainable solutions for the society and the environment, but the Company and its staff are dedicated to helping the country get through this crisis, so it has offered donations and media space to raise awareness and bring in more support for this significant initiative. Those interested in supporting can find more information from Line: @helpus or https://taejai.com/th/d/help_covid_at_home/. Donations can be made from today until 31 August 2021.
