VGI forms collaboration with AnyMind Group, one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the world.
Bangkok, 21 March 2019 – VGI Global Media Plc (VGI), Offline-to-Online (O2O) solutions provider across advertising, payment and logistics platforms, announced today its newly formed joint venture (JV) named VGI AnyMind Technology Co., Ltd. with AnyMind Group, an AI solutions provider for the advertising, influencer marketing and human resource industries. The JV’s foundation comprises VGI’s OOH media inventories, Rabbit’s data and AnyMind Group’s AI-based technology and digital platform. This will allow the joint venture to offer products that combine the power of data optimization and advertising spaces to the market. The partnership extends VGI’s offering in the increasingly important market segment of digital out-of-home media and leveraging AnyMind Group’s technology and digital platform to deliver performance-driven, dynamic and highly-targeted ads offline and online – creating a seamless O2O customer journey.

In the definitive agreements, VGI will invest THB 1 million, equivalent to a 49% stake in the Joint Venture after a closure of AnyMind Group’s Series B Plus round at US$8 million on 20 Mar 2019, bringing AnyMind Group’s Series B total to US$21.4 million and total current funding to US$35.9 million. The new investors include VGI and Tokyo Century Corporation, a Japanese financial services company.
